Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is a safe, non-invasive screening test that measures the mineral content of your hair to provide a blueprint of your metabolic health. Minerals are the "spark plugs" of the body, and imbalances can lead to chronic fatigue, brain fog, and digestive issues. By analyzing your hair, we can uncover exactly what your body needs to thrive.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I test dyed or bleached hair?
No. Chemical treatments alter the mineral profile of your hair. You must wait for at least 1 inch of new, untreated growth before taking your sample.
How much hair is needed for the sample?
You only need about one tablespoon of hair (approximately 125 milligrams). We collect it from the back of the head closest to the scalp so it is completely unnoticeable. I will send you instructions for collecting sample.
Can I use body hair or pubic hair?
Yes. If head hair is not available, body hair is a valid alternative. However, do not mix head hair and body hair in the same sample and you must let me know what area of the body the hair came from.
